Strength for Life

Strength for LifeTM (formerly known as Living Longer Living Stronger) is an evidence based progressive strength training and exercise program designed specifically for the over 50’s operating in Western Australia since 2004.  There are nearly 4,000 participants in over 50 providers throughout Western Australia.

Progressive strength training has been shown to have a huge impact on wellbeing and quality of life. We provide safe, fun and personalised sessions in approved facilities by expert trainers!

Delivered by our Physiotherapists, Strength for Life is a low cost, evidence-based progressive strength and balance exercise program.

It is designed to help people over 50 stay strong, active and fit, and works for people who have found it hard to exercise. With individually tailored exercise programs for each participant, all delivered and supported in a fun and friendly group setting, Strength for Life helps improve:

• balance
• cardiovascular fitness
• stride length
• leg muscle strength
• wellbeing

Health fund rebates may apply and tailored exercise plans will help manage chronic conditions.

We run classes daily at the following times:

Monday: 8.00-9.00am, 9.15-10.15am, 10.30-11.30am and 5.0-6.00pm

Tuesday: 8.00-9.00am and 9.15-10.15am

Wednesday: 8.00-9.00am, 10.30-11.30am and 5.00-6.00pm

Thursday: 8.00-9.00am and 9.15-10.15am

Friday: 8.00am-9.00am, 9.15-10.15am and 10.30-11.30am
