Kayla graduated from Curtin University in 2007. She then went on to work and own her own Private Practice for a number of years where she excelled in running hydrotherapy exercise classes, Clinical Pilates classes as well as strength and balance exercise classes for the elderly.

She was also the Physiotherapist for the Perth WAFL club, a role that included managing sporting injuries as well as performing screening assessments and developing injury prevention programs.

Kayla broadened her skills working up north for 2 years in a FIFO physio role. This role allowed Kayla to further expand her knowledge of ergonomics and OHS and she was involved heavily in manual handling training, an area she is now very passionate about.

Kayla has also been involved in early intervention and return to work programs for large companies and is experienced in performing pre-employment assessments.
